David Tyrrell Bio

David is a highly experienced corporate financier, having more than 20 years of experience advising public and private companies, financial sponsors and governmental institutions on acquisitions, disposals, demergers, capital raisings, restructurings and flotations. He has worked across several geographies and has particular expertise providing board level strategic and corporate finance advice within the broader financial services sector, including banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, speciality finance and payments. Before joining Smith Square Partners, David worked at Canaccord Genuity and Hawkpoint Partners with a focus on the financial services sector. He began his career at Deloitte, qualifying as an accountant within their London practice.
