As a leading restructuring corporate financier in the London market over more than three decades, Andrew has a reputation for solving highly complex issues and implementing creative responses through more than 100 transactions for public and private companies. In the aftermath of the global financial crisis he advised the Government of Iceland on the re-capitalisation and debt resolution of the country’s banking system, helping Iceland achieve a notable recovery from its banking collapse. His work has involved companies in many international jurisdictions and across a wide variety of sectors including steel, automotive, TMT, financial institutions, consumer & retail, business services, leisure and property. Andrew adds to this great range of experience clear understanding of governance matters, effective communication and stakeholder management. Andrew began his career at Deutsche Bank and has been Head of Restructuring at Hawkpoint and Head of European Restructuring and Recapitalisation for Jefferies among other similar posts. A keen chess player, he thinks many moves ahead in guiding clients to the best outcome.
