Bio

Jonathan has a very broad range of transaction experience across a number of sectors including healthcare, business services, utilities and financial services. As well as private transactions, he has extensive public company transaction experience including public offers (offeror and offeree side, recommended and hostile), acquisitions, disposals, demergers, flotations and restructurings. Prior to joining Smith Square Partners, he was a corporate finance partner at KPMG LLP and before that he spent over 12 years at Hawkpoint Partners. Jonathan started his corporate finance career at Baring Brothers in 1996, having qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. He has a degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.
