Bio

Zekeri joined Sigrun Africa as an Associate Director in 2014. Prior to joining Sigrun, from 2012 to 2014, he was Founder and Managing Partner of Banking and Remedial at 3Shades Consult, a financial advisory and consulting firm. From 2009 to 2011 he was Senior Manager at Equitorial Trust Bank (ETB, now Sterling Bank Plc). During his years at the bank, he worked as a Relationship Manager in the Leasing, Commercial Banking (Manufacturing, Energy, Oil and Gas) and Wholesale Banking divisions, and was Group Leader in charge of NNPC Corporate and its subsidiary, NNPC Retail. From 2000 to 2008, he began his professional career at the United Bank for Africa (UBA), after compulsory national youth service (NYSC). Zekeri holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Bayero University Kano and a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic. He is a Certified Accountant and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
