Following a move to San Diego from the Pacific Northwest, Phil founded Shoreline Partners, LLC, in 1992, building on his experience as a consultant and entrepreneur. Phil served as the Firm’s Managing Partner for over two decades. Through his success at Shoreline, Phil became recognized as an expert in building value and selling privately held businesses and was a sought-after lecturer and speaker throughout the Western United States. He also authored and published numerous articles on mergers and acquisitions. Today, he continues to mentor the Firm’s Managing Directors on how to succeed in M&A transactions for privately held companies. Throughout his career, Phil served on numerous corporate, educational, and civic boards and currently serves on the Boards of Litehouse Foods, Inc., and 24 Hours for Hank. He and his wife, Linda, reside in La Jolla, CA.
