Otto Lowe Bio

Otto Lowe is responsible for business development across all sectors, which broadly include insurance, healthcare, technology, and asset & wealth management. Mr. Lowe was previously with SCOR for 10 years serving as SVP of Collateral & Investments for SCOR Global Life Americas and as Managing Director of Capital & Liquidity Management for Transamerica Reinsurance, prior to its acquisition by SCOR. While at SCOR, Mr. Lowe led a team for financing the term life (Regulation XXX) reserves of the U.S. Life business. He was also responsible for reserve credit security on retrocessions covering over $10 billion of statutory reserves. Additionally, Mr. Lowe served as Investment Officer for SCOR’s U.S. Life companies and related collateral accounts. Prior to SCOR, Mr. Lowe held positions at Marsh & McLennan in National Client Development, Carolina Financial Group as a partner in this investment banking boutique covering IT companies, First Boston in Fixed Income Sales, and First Union in Balance Sheet Management. Mr. Lowe graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Geology from Duke University.
