Carlos Hernandez Goudet is a managing director at Seale & Associates, with more than 10 years of experience advising public and privately-held companies on multiple merger, acquisition, divestiture, carve-out, valuation, and corporate finance mandates in the U.S., Latin America, and India. Carlos joined Seale & Associates as an analyst in 2010 and has acted as lead advisor on international and domestic transactions to numerous clients, including Convatec Group, FEMSA, Grupo Fomento Queretano, The J.R. Simplot Company, Kentz Engineers & Constructors (now part of SNC-Lavalin), Oxbow Carbon, Tyco, United Technologies, and W.R. Grace, as well as many other family-owned companies and private equity firms. He has been a lead speaker at several conferences organized by local chambers of commerce, chapters of the Young Presidents’ Organization, addressing topics like valuing and selling businesses. He’s also part of a national business initiative that aims to increase the presence of Latino employees and entrepreneurs across all segments of the economy. He began his career as a process consultant at a franchise consulting firm and is fluent in German after spending a year in Germany working at ThyssenKrupp Nirosta. Carlos received his MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He is also a featured opinion writer for media outlets such as Expansion and Forbes Mexico.
