Prior to continuing investment banking at Seabrook, Mr. Theiss has over 35 years of experience - 10 years of investment banking at Goldman Sachs, 20 years at Merrill Lynch / Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the last decade as Head of Global Industrial, Corporate and Investment Banking and 4 years as the President of Strategic Advisory at Rockefeller Capital Management. During his career, Mr. Theiss has been involved in a wide range of investment banking activities from mergers and acquisition advisory, to capital raisings of all types – high-yield debt, IPO, follow-on equity offerings, convertible debt, leveraged lease financings and investment grade bonds. His experience spans many industries from materials to general industrial, and a range of clients in other industries retail, telecom, some tech and consumer. His practice focuses principally on strategic advice for CEOs, other senior leaders and Boards of Directors. Mr. Theiss has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
