Scott Mitchell, Managing Director, joined SDR Ventures in 2016. Scott leads day-to-day business operations across all SDR’s investment banking services. Scott’s responsibilities include closing transactions, leading the investment banking team, and business development. Scott has directly completed over a dozen transactions at SDR with a focus on business-to-business services including traffic services, technology-enabled services, field services, and industrial services. Scott holds his Series 79 and 63 securities licenses. For the six years prior to SDR, Scott led FP&A for an IT consulting firm, Critigen, which was carved out of CH2M Hill by Golden Gate Capital. At Critigen, Scott led financial reporting and corporate development activities. Scott began his career at a real estate investment firm, International Risk Group – now RESIGHT, which focuses on deals involving environmentally impaired assets. Scott holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Colorado Denver as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.
