Dany Beauchemin Bio

As Co-Head, Global Investment Banking and Canadian & U.S. Corporate Banking at Scotiabank, Dany is responsible for Global Investment Banking across all industry groups, Canadian & U.S. Corporate Banking, Merger and Acquisition activities and Equity Capital Markets. Dany joined Scotiabank in 2003 and has held progressively more senior roles within Global Investment Banking. He was, most recently, Managing Director and Co-Head, Global Investment Banking and previously Co-Group Head, Diversified Industries. Over the course of his career with Scotiabank, he has held roles in our Derivatives, Structured Finance, Canadian and U.S. Debt Capital Markets and Corporate Banking teams. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Dany spent five years with Pratt & Whitney Canada working as an aerospace engineer. Dany holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School where he graduated with “Distinction”, a Master of Aerospace Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
