Rick is a Principal at SC&H Capital, bringing over 35 years of experience in investment banking, accounting, and financial advisory services. He specializes in distressed M&A and Capital Advisory, offering strategic solutions to businesses facing complex financial challenges. With deep expertise in private capital markets, Rick is known for his ability to develop creative capital solutions tailored to unique business needs. Throughout his career, Rick has cultivated strong relationships with institutional capital providers across debt and equity markets. Before joining SC&H Capital, he founded his own financial advisory firm and previously led Loughlin Management Partners’ Special Situations Group prior to its acquisition by BDO. Rick has also held leadership roles at Houlihan, The DAK Group, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Rick is an active member and panelist with the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and was honored with the 2018 TMA Turnaround of the Year award. He holds a BS in Accounting with honors from Wilkes College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). Additionally, Rick maintains Series 7, 63, and 24 FINRA licenses. Outside of his professional endeavors, Rick enjoys spending time with his family and refining his golf game. He and his wife live in Chatham, New Jersey, with their dog, Madison.
