Taylor J. Esper is a director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler, based in the firm’s New York office. His responsibilities include advising and executing on a broad range of strategic advisory initiatives, focusing on M&A and capital raising for U.S. depository institutions. In his roles as part of the investment banking team, Esper has assisted clients on over $9.0 billion in merger & acquisition transactions and in the issuance of over $1.5 billion of debt and equity capital. Prior to the merger of Piper Jaffray and Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., he was an associate in the investment banking group at Sandler O’Neill. Esper graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a pre-med concentration. He was also a member of the men’s varsity soccer team. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Bentley University, McCallum Graduate School of Business.
