Susan Weinberg is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. Previously, Weinberg was a managing director in the capital raising group and head of liability management at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P, where she joined in July 2009. Weinberg was responsible for debt capital market origination and execution for banks and non-bank financials and originating and executing liability management transactions, including tender offers, exchange Offers, consent solicitations and open market repurchases. Prior to Sandler O’Neill, Weinberg spent 20 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., spending 14 years in its liability management group responsible for liability management for financial institutions, REITs, multi-industrial and telecom companies. Prior to that, she was a fixed income originator on the debt capital markets desk and in the mergers and acquisitions department. Weinberg holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance from Syracuse University.
