Matthew Wolfe joined Piper Sandler in 2020 and is the head of technology and consumer equity capital markets. Wolfe has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has executed over 400 equity transactions. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Wolfe was a managing director with Evercore, where he initiated the firm’s technology ECM practice. Wolfe also held senior roles in the technology ECM practices at both Barclays and BofA Merrill Lynch. He spent his early career in Merrill Lynch’s corporate finance group, where he specialized in equity-linked and hybrid capital financings, subsidiary redeployments, leveraged recapitalizations and capital structure optimization. Wolfe graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
