Matt Proven is a director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Proven focuses on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for depository institutions, primarily in the Midwestern United States. Previously, Proven was a vice president in the investment banking group of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., where he started his career as an analyst. Proven graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
