Dean Pimenta is a managing director and head of retail and disruptive commerce for the Piper Sandler consumer investment banking team, focused on providing M&A and capital markets advisory services to direct-to-consumer brands and retailers. Pimenta has more than 20 years of M&A and capital markets advisory experience. He joined Piper Sandler in 2021 after having previously served as head of retail for the Americas at UBS. He began his career at Citigroup as an analyst in the financial strategy group, and then spent 15 years as a member of Citigroup’s consumer and retail investment banking team. Pimenta holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University.
