David Lee is a managing director in the financial sponsors group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he originates and executes M&A, debt and equity capital markets and restructuring transactions for leading private equity and hedge fund clients in North America. Lee joined Piper Sandler from Houlihan Lokey, where he was part of its financial sponsors group. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, he worked as an investment banker and private equity investor at Stone Key Partners, Altaris Capital Partners and Lehman Brothers. Lee is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.
