Richard Collis Bio

Richard is a partner in the firm’s Business Advisory Group, working primarily with globally active businesses. Richard has unique expertise advising clients in the human capital, professional services, and technology sectors. Through his diverse domestic and international client base, Richard has considerable experience advising groups of companies on cross-border issues, working closely with global leadership teams and other professional advisers overseas. Richard’s clients range from start-ups and family businesses to mid-market and large international groups. As well as helping clients with assurance, tax, accounting, sustainability, and ESG matters, Richard is often the board’s trusted general corporate adviser and sounding board, and he regularly advises leadership teams on strategic and commercial business issues. Richard’s key philosophy is that he is a true client relationship partner and looks after all the affairs of both the business and the associated individuals, bringing together all elements in a practical and joined up way. Richard aims to deliver this personal, tailored, and private client style approach to all his clients, irrespective of their size or nature. In addition to his client work, Richard has held several senior leadership roles including leading the firm’s largest corporate team in London, serving twice on the firm’s Management Board, and serving on both the regional and global boards of Nexia.
