Scott Spieth Bio

Scott Spieth is a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Shareholder Advisory for Rockefeller Global Investment Banking. Mr. Spieth provides strategic advisory services related to mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, and contested shareholder situations. Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2022, Mr. Spieth was a Senior Managing Director for six years at Evercore in the Strategic, Defense and Shareholder Advisory practice, where he focused on advising companies facing shareholder activism and other hostile activity. Previously, he was a Managing Director in the Deutsche Bank M&A group where he spent 10 years sourcing and executing transactions for public and private companies across industry sectors. Mr. Spieth served for six years in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
