Bio

Mr. Esclamado has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Republic, Vic most recently served as Managing Director at DeVoe & Company, a firm delivering M&A, strategy consulting, and valuation services for RIAs and wealth and asset management firms. Vic has extensive experience in leading investment banking M&A engagements for RIA clients and has conducted successful engagements with over 100 firms ranging from $100 million to over $5 billion in AUM with a diverse set of business models. Mr. Esclamado previously served as Chief Operating Officer of True North Advisors, a multi-billion AUM fee-based RIA in Dallas, TX where he handled all business aspects of the firm while overseeing finance, HR, operations, legal, compliance, and technology. Additionally, Mr. Esclamado facilitated the development of “next generation” equity ownership plan with bank financing, rationalized advisor compensation, established financial reporting best practices (including financial forecasting, investment prioritization, and advisor profitability analysis), and developed a technology road map guiding conversion of critical advisor and business technology applications to new platform for advisors and clients with broad team adoption. Prior to that, Vic served as an SVP-Strategy for a large multi-business division at Bank of America, where he built and led a strategy team that recommended the purchase of MBNA (over $122 billion in assets) credit card business and FleetBoston Bank (over $12 billion in revenues). Mr. Esclamado then successfully led the FleetBoston integration project for the consumer bank, overseeing project teams to deliver plans for over $500 million in cost savings and $300 million of new revenue opportunities, exceeding expectations while regularly reporting the Executive Committee of BAC on progress. Vic earned his MBA from Stanford GSB and his undergraduate BA from Yale University.
