Bio

Teo Ozsan brings over 17 years of strategic and financial advisory experience. Since joining Renaissance in 2013, Teo has continued to work on M&A transactions while developing a hybrid approach of employing the firms’ capabilities to forming and executing growth strategies. Over his career, Teo has advised a range of Aerospace and Defense clients including hardware primes, mid-tier electronics suppliers, commercial aerospace parts companies and government services firms across maritime, land, air and space domains. Teo’s M&A experience includes public and private company transactions, both on the buy and sell-side, advising on strategic alternatives and corporate carve-outs. In addition to corporate clients, he has worked on engagements with dozens of financial sponsors, and following buy-side assignments on new platforms has been integrally involved as a consultant and advisor with sponsor platform growth initiatives and follow-on M&A. Teo Ozsan is a Registered Representative of and Securities Products are offered through BA Securities, LLC. Teo’s recent M&A announced transactions in the A&D sector include advising Navistar on the sale of a majority stake of Navistar Defense to Cerberus, advising Huntington Ingalls’ on its acquisition of Camber, advising ATAC and its shareholders on the sale to Textron, advising Esterline on the sale of Eclipse Electronics to BAE Systems, advising American Capital on the sale of Paradigm Precision to Carlyle, and advising Littlejohn on the sale of Synchronous Aerospace to Precision Castparts. Teo has advised on dozens of buyside and strategic alternatives engagements for a range of mid- and large- defense, government services and commercial aerospace focused clients. Domain experience includes A&D electronics, hardware platforms and associated equipment services, commercial and military training, a spectrum of broader government services segments, and commercial aerospace suppliers. Financial sponsor clients on completed investment banking transactions have also included CCMP Asia, Clapham House Group, H2 Equity Partners, RJD Partners, TDR Capital, and Unison Capital. Prior to joining RSA, Teo was a Vice President at Lazard in the Washington DC office of the Aerospace and Defense investment banking group. Prior to this, he held positions at Lazard in London in the mergers and acquisitions and private placement groups. Teo holds a Master's degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford where he was awarded the War Memorial Scholarship from Balliol College, the Pilkington Prize from Oxford’s Said Business School and graduated with First-Class Honors. He also has a Master's of Business Administration degree with majors in Finance and Strategy from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. Teo is a naturalized U.S. Citizen and holds Series 63, 79 and 82 licenses.
