Taras brings to Rada Capital over 30 years of experience in international diplomacy, business development and enterprise management, as well as his extensive expertise and business network in the Latin American market. After graduating from Moscow Institute of International Relations in 1985, Taras had served for five years in the diplomatic core of the former Soviet Union until its collapse in 1991. He then transitioned to private business and has successfully founded and exited a number of businesses related to international trade and real estate. In 2012, Taras was asked to return to public service and has served as the Commercial Attaché in the Russian embassy in Santiago, where he helped many companies successfully enter the Latin American market. From 2014 to 2019, Taras had served as the CEO and President of Minera San Jorge S.A., a mining concern headquartered in Mendoza, Argentina. In this role, he had considerably widened his network in the Latin American business community and had gained a thorough understanding of the region’s booming energy market largely driven by the growing mining industry energy demands. In 2020, Taras started to pursue renewable business opportunities in the region and, late in the year, joined Rada Capital to head its Latin American energy practice.
