Dr. Alexander Kutsch advises companies and investors on national and international corporate transactions (Mergers & Acquisitions), corporate reorganisations, succession planning and corporate financing. He has notable experience advising international family businesses. He completed his studies and subsequently a Doctorate of Law at the University of Freiburg, which included a period abroad in the UK. He was also admitted as a tax consultant in 2011. In October 2012 Dr. Alexander Kutsch joined Rödl & Partner, where he became head of the legal and tax law practice in Baden-Wuerttemberg. He has been a member of the Management Board since January 2024 and is responsible for global legal advisory. Dr. Alexander Kutsch has been repeatedly recognised as an adviser in prestigious rankings. In 2023, Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers listed him as one of Germany's best lawyers in tax law. He lectures on current developments in corporate law and is the author of numerous publications on corporate law. From 2012 to 2016 Dr. Alexander Kutsch was a lecturer for corporate succession and European law at the University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management (FOM). He is involved in several professional organisations, including the advisory board of the International Fiscal Association.
