Brian Kornmann Bio

Brian Kornmann joined Q Advisors in 2024 after spending the last 15 years working as a Managing Director with Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time at TSCP Brian held roles in Financial Operations and as a Managing Director where he was directly responsible for implementing and overseeing financial control and operational procedures across all portfolio companies and working directly to support and close platform and add-on acquisitions, including the acquisition and subsequent recapitalization of BCM One, a large provider of managed communication services to over 30,000 clients across the world. Prior to joining TSCP, Mr. Kornmann spent five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a public accounting firm, where he worked on M&A support for Private Equity sponsors. In addition, Mr. Kornmann previously founded and ran BRK Consulting, a management consulting firm specializing in assisting Native Alaskan villages with grant writing and business development needs. Mr. Kornmann obtained both a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Accountancy, both magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and serves on the advisory board of the Joshua Chamberlain Society, a charity focused on provided lifelong support for veterans wounded in combat.
