Brian Barnell brings over 20 years of diverse financial experience to the field of investment banking that includes commercial lending, project finance, corporate finance, and strategic advisory. Brian’s deep knowledge in telecom, media, and technology (TMT) has assisted clients such as Nokia, Altán Redes, TPx Communications and Tillman Infrastructure maximize their transactions value by designing creative capital structures and focusing on each company’s ideal positioning given the sector’s current market dynamics. Prior to joining Q Advisors, Brian was at Bank of America where he served as a Vice President in the Latin America Debt Capital Markets and Global Project Finance groups. In these capacities he focused primarily on raising debt and equity capital for domestic and international communications service providers. Brian received a dual B.A. (History and Spanish) from The University of California at Santa Barbara, a M.A. from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
