Bio

Neil Dhar serves as Vice Chair - US Consulting Solutions Co-Leader. In this role he is responsible for helping clients identify value and design and deliver large-scale business-led change, from strategy to outcomes, specifically in the areas of Deals, Transformation, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Risk, Cloud and Digital and Tax Consulting. Previously Neil served as PwC’s Chief Clients Officer, with overall responsibility for the firm’s markets, sectors and sales functions. In this role, he served as the firm’s leading client advisor helping harness the firm’s vast skills, credentials, services and products to solve client’s most complex business issues. Prior to this, Neil served as the leader of PwC’s Financial Services practice across all matters (Consulting, Tax, M&A and Audit services). Previous to that, he held numerous senior leadership roles in PwC’s Deals business including head of the M&A Capital Markets business. Neil is a seasoned deal consulting professional with over 20+ years of experience advising on over 250 transactions representing billions in transaction value and/or capital. His focus is on advising the world’s largest financial sponsors and corporations on transformational transactions such as public offerings (IPOs, spins, debt offerings), divestitures, acquisitions/alliances, and PE portfolio company value creation exercises, exit planning and financings. Neil is a frequent guest on major news outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business News, Wall Street Journal, commenting on major news of the day. He is also a lecturer at financial conferences and the author of numerous articles on transformational events. Neil has a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in business from Villanova University. He has attended executive education programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD with concentrations in leadership development and strategy, respectively. Neil currently serves on the board of directors for New York Cares and on the Advisory Council of Villanova School of Business - Finance. He is a 2018 David Rockefeller Fellow through the Partnership for New York City. Currently based in New York City, Neil has worked in London, Chicago and Florham Park.
