Bio

Mark Pollack is a global executive and seasoned entrepreneur whose experience encompasses both sides of M&A and private equity transactions. As President of Protegrity Advisors, Mark guides clients through the various stages of the business sale process, leveraging his experience in business, negotiations and financing to effectively execute transactions. Previously, Mark was the Co-Founder / President and CEO of Sage Parts, a world leader in the aftermarket aviation ground support equipment (GSE) sector. In 1998, when Mark acquired the parts division of S.A.G.E. Corporation, the business had 3 full-time employees and revenue of less than $3 million. Under his leadership, Sage Parts generated cumulative revenue of over $2 billion, operated in more than 24 locations on 5 continents, and grew to more than 350 employees, earning him industry awards recognizing his achievements in revolutionizing and making more efficient the GSE parts supply chain. To facilitate this rapid global growth, in 2008 Mark combined his business with a large international manufacture of GSE under the ALVEST umbrella and continued to lead Sage Parts and other businesses as CEO of ALVEST Parts & Accessories. Today, the ALVEST group of companies is the leading player in the GSE space. Throughout his career at Sage Parts, Mark led several strategic acquisitions (both domestic and international), as well as capital raises and financing. Prior to Sage Parts, Mark was General Manager of SH Technics, the Northeast distributor of Automotive Coatings of Spies Hecker products, where he grew the business three-fold during a four-year period. SH Technics had a successful exit and was acquired by the manufacturer Spies Hecker, where Mark took on the role of Director of Sales/Operations. At Spies Hecker, Mark deployed strategies to continue to grow market share throughout North America. Mark is an active investor in real estate, early-stage companies and acts as a non-executive advisor to several privately owned businesses. He has a BBA from Hofstra University.
