Tammy G. Carter is a Managing Director at ProBank Austin. She has been with the firm since 1988. In her current capacity, she oversees the firm’s educational services division, which provides over 500 training seminars attended by more than 10,000 representatives of financial institutions across the U.S. She has expertise in researching complex compliance issues with consumer protection laws and regulations and has provided litigation support services. Ms. Carter has over 20 years of experience in consumer compliance, specializing in educational program design and content development. During her tenure with ProBank, she has participated in compliance-related content development for various schools and programs for state banking associations, as well as the New York State Department of Banking, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the former Office of Thrift Supervision. Ms. Carter also serves as a liaison with several state and community banking associations and credit union leagues including Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia to provide educational training solutions to their members. Ms. Carter has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies.
