Robert (Bob) Shober is a Managing Director at ProBank Austin. Prior to joining ProBank Austin in 1983, Mr. Shober served as an examiner for the FDIC for eight years. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has an extensive background in management issues, loan analysis, regulatory procedures, and asset/liability structures. Mr. Shober provides consulting services in the areas of bank management, loan administration and analysis, policy development, regulatory matters, capital planning, and strategic planning. He has been a key leader in compilation and investigation of Fidelity and D&O claims for financial institutions, insurers, and their counsel. Extensive problem bank and bank failure service with FDIC and ProBank Austin uniquely qualifies Mr. Shober in this area and in litigation matters involving failed and near-failed institutions. Mr. Shober has served as a member of the faculty of the FDIC’s Bank Operations and Compliance School, and speaks on a variety of lending andregulatory topics.
