Reynaldo Orsolino is a Director of Primeiro Partners with over 30 years of experience in banking. Prior to joining Primeiro, he was connected with the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) where he initially headed its SME and Commercial Banking Segment, and later set up its Emerging Corporates Segment under the Corporate Banking Group. He also headed the SME Banking and Metro Manila Lending Group, after heading one of the Divisions under the Remedial Management Group of the Philippine National Bank (PNB). Mr. Orsolino also took on senior positions in other key banking institutions such as the Planters Development Bank, Asian Bank Corporation, and the Land Bank of the Philippines where he supervised units engaged in credit review and supervision, management of remedial accounts, program management, and corporate banking. In his professional career, Mr. Orsolino was responsible for developing and launching RCBC’s SME program in 2008, introducing its first web and phone-based loan assessment tools in 2010 and 2012, and launching the Women’s Business Loan program in 2013. He created a new segment under the Corporate Banking Group focused on originating/managing Large Middle-Market customers. In addition to performing marketing functions, Mr. Orsolino was a member of the CBG Credit Committee, participated as a trainer in the RCBC Officers Development Program, and was a regular lecturer/speaker on various banking and topics for conferences organized by Marcus Evans and Fleming Gulf Conferences. He briefly taught at the De La Salle University and served as Director of the Small Business Corporation and SMED Council under the Department of Trade & Industry.
