Tarek Aguizy Bio

Tarek Aguizy is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group, based in New York. Mr. Aguizy has over 23 years of experience advising clients on strategic and cross-border transactions. Over the course of his career, Mr. Aguizy has advised clients across various global industries on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, public and private company sales, carve-outs, take-privates, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, unsolicited bid defense, activism defense, as well as selected capital raising and restructuring transactions. Prior to PJT Partners, Mr. Aguizy worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley, the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs International, and the Mergers & Acquisitions group at JPMorgan, with experience both in New York and London. Mr. Aguizy received a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Economics, as well as a MSc in engineering, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
