Max Mayer-Eming Bio

Max Mayer-Eming is a Partner in the European Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, based in London. Mr. Mayer-Eming has been working since 2003 in the European distressed market with focus on the DACH region. For almost 10 years he headed the Restructuring & Special Situations teams at Macquarie and Lazard in Germany. Before that he worked for Houlihan Lokey and Oaktree Capital in London and Frankfurt. He started investment banking in the corporate finance department of Dresdner Kleinwort in 2000. Mr. Mayer-Eming’s experience covers debtor and creditor advisory, distressed M&A, capital structure advisory and refinancing of stressed and distressed companies. Mr. Mayer-Eming studied law at the University of Tuebingen, Germany, and passed his 1st and 2nd State Examination. He holds a doctoral degree in law.
