Hugo Baring is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in London. Prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Baring was head of TMT Investment Banking in EMEA for J.P.Morgan. He joined J.P.Morgan Cazenove in 2007 and held a variety of roles across J.P.Morgan’s investment banking businesses in the UK and the TMT sector. Prior to his time at J.P.Morgan, Mr. Baring worked in the Media & Communications investment banking team at Morgan Stanley in London. During his investment banking career, Mr. Baring has advised a wide range of corporate and private equity clients across a broad range of activities, focusing on strategic M&A assignments and including equity and debt capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Baring qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK and graduated from Oxford University.
