Ben Monaghan is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in London, focusing on clients in the oil and gas sector globally. Mr. Monaghan has 22 years of energy sector experience, including 20 years at JPMorgan, most recently as leader of their consistently top-ranked Europe, Middle East and Africa oil and gas investment banking team. Immediately prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Monaghan gained relevant experience in industry as the Chief Financial Officer of a listed oil company. Mr. Monaghan has advised on numerous landmark transactions in the sector and has significant experience in M&A, equity and debt financings. He serves as a Governor of the Richard Reeves Foundation. Mr. Monaghan received an MA and a BA in Russian and French from the University of Cambridge, UK.
