Prashanth Cherukuri Bio

Prashanth Cherukuri is a managing director in the Piper Sandler technology investment banking group and is based in Burlingame, California. He focuses on providing a full range of investment banking services, including M&A and capital-raising. Cherukuri leads coverage of supply chain software companies and also focuses on companies in the infrastructure software space. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Cherukuri was a senior vice president within the technology investment banking group at Jefferies, where he advised enterprise software clients. Prior to that, he was a vice president within the TMT investment banking group at Barclays. Earlier in his career, Cherukuri was a senior IC design engineer at Meditek Inc. and Analog Devices Inc. where he designed baseband processors for smartphones. Cherukuri earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Bharathiar University, a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
