Mihir Mantri Bio

Based out of New York, Mihir Mantri is a managing director in the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Sandler. Mantri has more than 20 years of experience within investment banking and startup operational roles. Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2019, Mantri was a managing director and head of life sciences at BMO Capital Markets where he lead banking coverage for the biotechnology sector. Mantri has extensive experience in equity and M&A transactions for middle-market and growth oriented life sciences companies. Earlier in his career he worked at Jefferies & Company in healthcare investment banking. Mantri earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University.
