Matthew Mintzer Bio

Matthew Mintzer is a managing director and global co-head of the Piper Sandler restructuring group. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Mintzer was a managing director and member of the founding team of TRS Advisors. Before that, he was a member of the restructuring advisory business at Rothschild, based in New York. He has advised companies, creditors and municipalities on restructuring and special situation assignments across a wide range of industries including telecommunications, energy, consumer, insurance, healthcare, financials and automotive. Mintzer holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
