Chris Geyer is a director in the chemicals & materials investment banking group. Previously, he was a member of the diversified industrials investment banking group where he led the specialty chemicals practice. Geyer has more than a decade of domestic and international M&A experience, serving private equity investors, large corporations and private business owners. Geyer started his investment banking career in 1999 with Piper Sandler, where he spent three years before joining the corporate business development and strategic planning group at Entegris, Inc. Prior to re-joining Piper Sandler in 2017, he spent nine years at Lazard Middle Market focused on sell-side and buy-side M&A activity. Geyer has worked on a variety of transactions in his career including sell-side assignments for privately owned and private equity backed clients, corporate divestitures, buyside advisory and restructuring advisory. Geyer graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
