Mike Beveridge serves as vice chairman of energy & power corporate finance at Piper Sandler Ltd, and is based in the firm’s Aberdeen office. Beveridge has almost 30 years of energy industry investment banking experience and joined Piper Sandler in 1999 with the team that established the first U.K. office. Prior to that, he was a partner in RMD Corporate Finance, a U.K. corporate finance and accounting boutique. Beveridge started his career with Ernst & Young in the late 1980s. Beveridge has broad experience across the oil & gas and energy services sector, having advised on many successful M&A transactions and finance raisings within the U.K., Norway and internationally. In recent years, Beveridge has broadened his expertise within the renewable energy arena with a particular focus on the rapidly growing offshore wind sector. He holds a Master of Arts degree in economics with accounting from the University of Aberdeen and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
