Bio

Michael Bassett is a managing director in the equity capital markets group. He is responsible for the origination and execution of equity offerings. Bassett joined Piper Sandler in 2007 and has spent his career in capital markets, where he is focused on helping growth sector issuers raise capital. He is currently based in New York and has previously worked in the firm’s Hong Kong and Minneapolis offices. Bassett received a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kansas.
