Jacques is the founder and a Managing Director of Pickering Pacific. He is a French national. Prior to founding Pickering Pacific, Jacques started his career in 1991 as an M&A lawyer for Clifford Chance in Paris before being transferred to London. From 2000 to 2003, Jacques worked in senior M&A and financial roles for the H.J. Heinz Company. He first worked at Heinz World Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (U.S.) as General Manager in charge of Portfolio Planning and Analysis, and then in Melbourne (Australia) as Director, Planning & Business Development for Heinz Australasia. Jacques has more than 25 years of experience in M&A projects, covering various sectors on all continents. Jacques has extensive knowledge of East Asia culture and practices. He has lived in Singapore since 2003 and spent five years in the Philippines and Thailand as a child. Jacques holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne (Switzerland), and an LL.M. in Business Law and an LL.M. in English and North American Comparative Law from University Paris I – Sorbonne. Jacques has contributed articles on M&A-related topics to various publications and is a frequent speaker at regional conferences.
