Mr. Caniff joined the firm in 2001 and is a Senior Managing Director of Periculum Capital Company. He spends the majority of his time leading the firm’s merger & acquisition activities. Mr. Caniff has completed over 80 transactions during his tenure with the firm. Prior to joining Periculum, Mr. Caniff was a founder of a private equity fund. The fund was focused on purchasing middle market companies in basic industries. Mr. Caniff spent the first 11 years of his career in corporate banking. The majority of his career was spent with the predecessor banks to JP Morgan Chase Bank, N. A. During his banking career, he completed numerous merger & acquisition financings for large corporations. Mr. Caniff received his BA in Economics from Indiana University.
