Ryan Gazda is a Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and the designated Financial and Operations Principal (FINOP) at Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC ("the Company"). Ryan served as Senior Controller for over five years before becoming Chief Financial Officer, playing an integral role in the Company's growth and expansion over that time, including capital raises, an acquisition, and ESOP implementation. He oversees all aspects of the month-end close, regulatory reporting, financial planning and analytics, treasury, and capital management, along with credit risk. Ryan sits on the operations team, which is responsible for the execution of the operational aspects of strategy established by the Performance Trust Management Team and the management of resources to ensure the achievement of firm objectives. Ryan also sits on the Company's Management Risk Committee, ESOP Committee, 401K Committee, SARs Committee, and New Products Committee. Previously, Ryan served as the lead Controller for all broker-dealer operations (both domestic and international) at Wolverine Trading, LLC ("Wolverine"), reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Ryan was heavily involved in Wolverine's expansion into foreign markets, the partial transition to self-clearing, and the acquisition of a retail energy company. He managed the daily cash flow funding of all bank and clearing accounts and served on Wolverine's Audit Committee. Before Ryan's tenure at Wolverine Trading, LLC, he worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG, LLP (Chicago and London) within their Financial Services practice gaining extensive experience in SEC reporting, U.S. and IFRS technical accounting, internal controls, and engagement management. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting Sciences degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is Series 27 and Series 99 certified.
