Ms. Murphy is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. She focuses on advising clients in the international energy sector. Ms. Murphy has more than 27 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in July of 2017, Ms. Murphy was at Standard Chartered Bank from 2007 to 2016, where she held several roles including Managing Director responsible for Global Oil & Gas M&A and Head of Corporate Finance Europe. She was previously Managing Director of Harrison Lovegrove & Co., where she advised clients on Energy M&A. Prior to that, Ms Murphy was an Executive Director in the energy team at CIBC World Markets. Ms. Murphy began her career as a geoscientist in the oil industry with Tuskar Resources. At Perella Weinberg Partners and in previous roles, she has actively worked with energy clients, including advising on the sale of Edison E&P to Energean; Cove Energy to PTTEP; Petrobras on the formation of a JV with BTG Pactual and BP on a $7 billion asset sale to Apache Corporation. Ms. Murphy earned a Bachelor in Science and a M.Sc. from University College Dublin.
