Bio

Tracy Albert is Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and will lead client coverage and business development initiatives. Mr. Albert is recognized as one of the preeminent investment bankers on the West Coast, having advised hundreds of middle market companies and entrepreneurs over a span of several decades. Mr. Albert has developed a vast network of business contacts and close personal relationships across a broad array of industries and specialties that was built meticulously over a span of several decades, which provides a flow of unique advisory and transaction opportunities. Prior to joining Palm Tree, he previously held several senior investment banking roles, most recently at JD Merit and Company, where he was Vice Chairman and responsible for planning and strategic direction of the firm. Mr. Albert also served as Managing Director and Head of Western Region at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he led the development of client relationships and the firm’s advisory practice in the western U.S. out of Los Angeles. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, where he played a significant role in building the firm’s middle-market banking practice. Mr. Albert also founded Business Forums International (BFI), a global business networking enterprise that brings together thousands of professionals with expertise in accounting, banking, consulting, law, insurance, recruiting, and other disciplines. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and is a passionate supporter of numerous charitable causes in the areas of education, human services, the arts, the environment, healthcare/medical research, especially relating to childhood diseases.
