Mr. Ostrowski founded Ostrowski & Company, Inc. in January 1994. Prior to forming O&Co, he served for thirteen years as Managing Director of Lyons, Zomback & Ostrowski, Inc., a firm he co-founded in 1980. Lyons, Zomback & Ostrowski, Inc. was acquired by The Advest Group, Inc., a regional brokerage firm, in 1988. Previously, he served in various capacities in both the Bank Supervision and the Loan and Credit Departments at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Following his role as Section Head of the Bank & Thrift Monitoring Group at the Boston Fed, he was a Vice President of Cates, Lyons & Co., consulting bank analysts. Since leaving the Fed in 1979, Mr. Ostrowski has been actively involved in providing advice to banks, bank holding companies and thrift institutions regarding capital and strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, branch transactions and regulatory matters. He has successfully advised institutions on non-underwritten capital raising efforts, including subscription offerings and private placements. He has been involved in executing long-term acquisition-driven expansion strategies. Mr. Ostrowski's hands-on experience in bank and thrift mergers and acquisitions spans over 30 years during which time he has counseled boards of directors and executive management and negotiated on behalf of both buyers and sellers. Mr. Ostrowski received his B.S. degree, with honors, in economics from Northeastern University, and was elected to Omicron Delta Epsilon, the national honor society for students of economics. He is currently a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Ostrowski has lectured at various forums, including seminars sponsored by the FDIC, and meetings of state and national bank and thrift trade associations. Mr. Ostrowski has been an instructor at the FDIC's Examiner Training School. He has also been an instructor at the Consumer Bankers Association's Graduate School of Retail Bank Management where he taught a course on mergers and acquisitions entitled "Negotiations Strategies".
