Bio

Prior to co-founding Osprey Capital, Mr. Jakob was a Partner and Director with Gordon Capital Corporation where he provided investment banking advice to a number of Canadian public and private companies. Mr. Jakob had responsibility for a variety of transactions including financings, initial public offerings, asset sales and going-private transactions. Before joining Gordon Capital, Mr. Jakob was the President of a private packaging and distribution company. He became involved shortly after the start-up and initiated and completed the ultimate sale to one of Canada’s largest consumer products companies. After receiving an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, he taught Business 257, Canadian Institute of Management and Institute of Canadian Bankers courses at the University of Western Ontario.
