Marios Argyris Bio

Marios is a Corporate Finance professional with 38 years experience in M&A, Private Equity/ Venture Capital and Banking. After a long career in Project Management, Banking and Venture Capital, Marios founded his own boutique M&A Advisory firm in 2010, focusing primarily on cross-border transactions and FDI into Cyprus. Before launching his M&A activities, he was Head of VC/PE with a listed financial services group in Cyprus and prior to that he held senior posts with Cypriot Banks. Currently, Marios also advises a licensed AIFM with branches in Cyprus and Luxemburg on Private Equity investment management and is a pro-bono trainer & mentor to start-up teams with the award-winning IdeaCY Innovation Centre. He has served as External Expert with the Directorate-General for Research & Innovation of the EC for five years and as Director on the Boards of both listed and private, regulated companies.
