Steve Klammer Bio

Steve brings a unique insight to M&A from his extensive background in the hedge fund industry. He has over 25 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Steve is responsible for business development and project management for clients seeking to finance, sell and acquire businesses. Earlier, he founded Highbar Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund focused on statistical arbitrage. Previously, he was a partner at Whitebox Advisors LLC, a hedge fund that managed and advised private investment funds and separately managed accounts that reached $6 billion in assets. He also spent several years with Deephaven Capital Management, now a subsidiary of the Knight Capital Group, that at its peak managed $4 billion in assets. He is a Registered Representative of, and transactions are conducted through, Hamilton Grant, LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC. Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northeastern University and with Highest Honors with a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
