Syed Ahmad is a Managing Director at Oberon Securities – with over 20 years of Wall Street experience. Syed focuses on SPACs and deSPACs across TMT, Real Estate Tech, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy. Syed has been covering the Capital Markets sector and has executed over $100 billion in transactions including buy-side and sell-side M&A, SPAC IPOs, deSPACs, Equity offerings, PIPE M&A and Converts. Syed has been a trusted M&A advisor to the C-Suite executive teams. Prior to joining Oberon Securities, Syed was a Director at Citigroup where he led the SPAC Capital Markets franchise and executed several SPAC IPO transactions. Prior to Citigroup, Syed was at Deutsche Bank and UBS Investment Bank. Syed received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from Rutgers School of Business and attended Harvard University for his Masters.
